Peter H. Lang

Peter H. Lang, 54, of Kutztown, passed away on Saturday morning, July 31, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 2, 1967 in Orange, NJ, he was the son of the late Howard P. and Martha L. (Lambing) Lang. He and his wife of 29 years, Daphne A. (Peters) Lang, were married on June 6, 1992 in Chambersburg, PA.

Peter was a 1985 graduate of Columbia High School, and 1989 graduate of Drew University. Peter went on to receive his master's degree in library science from Kutztown University.

Peter worked for many years as the Librarian for the Parkland School District at the Fogelsville and Fred Jaindl Elementary Schools. He loved playing street hockey, reading, collecting toys and hand painting ornaments. Most of all, Peter loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Daphne, Peter is survived by his children, Sarah C. Lang, Pierson W. Lang, Winston H. Lang, Cargan T. Lang and Moriah M. Lang. He is also survived by his brother, Albert L. Lang, husband of Lucinda A. (Ellenburg) Lang, Jefferson City, TN, by their children, Harper J. Lang, Maggie (Lang) Brooks, wife of Lucas Brooks, and Gracie Li Lang, and by several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Peter will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 pm until time of services at the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.
