Ray L. Weller

Ray L. Weller, 73, of Hamburg, passed away on October 18, 2018 at Berks Heim.

Born October 13, 1945 in Reading, he was the son of the late Ray Y. and Frances M. (Gerth) Weller.  He and his wife of 38 years, Jean L. (Krug) Weller were married on July 28, 1980.

Ray served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Army.

Ray worked as a telephone repairman for over 30 years for Bell Telephone and then Verizon.  He was a graduate of Exeter High School and enjoyed fishing, hiking, spending time outdoors and chopping wood.

Surviving in addtion to his wife, Jean, are his daughter, Heather Rae Medcroft, his brother, Larry Weller, husband of Margaret (Henley) Weller, Reading and two nephews, Todd and Brian.

Services for Ray will be private.
