Robert E. Munoz

Robert E. Munoz, 48, of Fleetwood, passed away suddenly while at work on Thursday, February 15, 2018.

Born May 26, 1969 in Fort Wayne, IN, he was the son of Robert Munoz and Beverly (Schwarzwalder) Steinkamp.

Robert was a 1987 graduate of Wayne High School, Fort Wayne, IN and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army from 1987 to 1993.

Robert worked for the past 25 years for Norfolk Southern Railway as a locomotive engineer. He loved traveling, especially to the western United States and also loved watching movies and target shooting.

Surviving in addition to Robert's parents, are his children, Jordenne M. Munoz, Fleetwood and Mitchell R. Munoz, Fleetwood, his granddaughter, Lillian M. Tilotta, his brothers, Eric Munoz, Fort Wayne, IN and John Munoz, Portland, OR, a niece and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Robert will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A viewing will be held Friday, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

United States Army Military Honors will be rendered following the funeral service at the funeral home.
