Robert W. Reaser, 88, of Lewisburg, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his home.
Born July 23, 1935 in Reading, he was the son of the late Frank and Carrie (Englehart) Reaser. His wife of 58 years, Gloria L. (Rahn) Reaser, passed away on December 10, 2019.
Robert served his country honorably and faithfully as a member of the United States Navy. He was a graduate of Reading High School.
Robert worked as a tool and die machinist for Rockwell International, Reading, for many years. He was a past member of Hope Lutheran Church, Reading, and enjoyed camping, traveling, and especially, square and round dancing with Gloria. He and Gloria also taught round dancing.
Robert is survived by his four children, Karen M. (Reaser) Thomas, wife of Linda K. Thomas, Jersey Shore, PA, Lori A. (Reaser) Sqwait, wife of Edward Sqwait, Reading, Brian S. Reaser, husband of Lisa M. (Krick) Reaser, Davenport, Florida, and Robert T. Reaser, husband of Amy Reaser, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Dalton, Megan, Ashley, Edward, Gloria, Justin, Jared, Jordan, Nicholas, and Nathan, his 10 great-grandchildren, and his sister, Janet Shade, Reading.
Along with his parents, and his wife, Gloria, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, James, Richard, Joyce and Shirley.
Funeral Services for Robert will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Molltown. A viewing will be held, Monday, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
