Samuel E. Douse

Samuel E. Douse, 75, of Hamburg, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

Born July 4, 1944 in St. Ann, Jamaica, he was the son of the late Josephine Waters and Edwin Douse. He and his wife of 27 years, Sharon D. (Deloatch) Douse, were married in Philadelphia on June 16, 1992.

Samuel spent years working in the farming industry. He was a folk artist who loved painting, country western music and old movies.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Sharon, are his children, Suzette Douse, Candene Douse, Sandra Douse, Carlton Douse, Aston Douse and Conroy Douse, several grandchildren and his siblings, Aaron Chambers, Daniel Chamgers, Allan Douse and Alma Chambers.

Funeral Services for Samuel will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s UCC Cemetery, Molltown.

A viewing will be held Monday, August 5, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
