Mrs. Sandra L. (Angstadt) Keiser, 77, of Maidencreek Twp, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Laurel Center, Hamburg.
Born September 15, 1943 in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Rhoads) Angstadt. Her husband of 44 years, Ralph R. Keiser, passed away on July 25, 2007.
Sandra worked for many years as a gemologist and a self-employed jewelry appraiser. She was the first female Certified Gemologist in Berks County. Sandra loved traveling, smocking, gardening, and reading. Most of all, she loved being a grandmother to Katie.
Sandra was a 1961 graduate of Reading High School and went on to study at McCann Business School. She received her professional certifications from GIA and AGS.
Sandra is survived by her two children, Judith E. (Keiser) Edwards, wife of John J. Edwards, Gilbert, AZ, and James E. Keiser, husband of Jennifer L. (Cronk) Keiser, Maidencreek Twp. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Katharine, and by her sisters, Carol Diehl, widow of Darryl Diehl, Kutztown and Cheryl Degler, wife of Jeffrey Degler, Whitfield.
Along with her parents and her husband, Ralph, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Rusty Keiser.
Funeral Services for Sandra will be private. Burial will take place in Laureldale Cemetery.
