Sheridan P. Ficarro

Sheridan P. Ficarro, 57, of Topton, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA.

Born May 27, 1959 in Susquehanna, PA, he was the son of Salvatore J. & Joan A. (Spoonhower) Ficarro, Horseheads, NY. He and his wife, Lisa C. (Braster) Ficarro, were married on October 9, 1982 in Horseheads, New York.

Sheridan was an IT Manager for most of his life. For the past 5 years, he was working as an IT Manager for the Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, Bethlehem, PA. Sheridan was of the Catholic faith and was active for many years with the Boy Scouts. He was a past Scoutmaster and Merit Badge Counselor. Sheridan was a graduate of Horseheads High School, Horseheads, NY.

Sheridan proudly served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army. He was a youth bowling counselor for over 15 years, loved racing and was a race car owner. He enjoyed bowling, golfing (mostly in the water) and was known to be able to fix anything and everything.

In addition to his wife, Lisa, and his parents, Sheridan is survived by his son, Dean J. Ficarro, husband of Melody V. (Brensinger) Ficarro, Fleetwood, his daughter, Emily L. Ficarro, Breinigsville, his guardian children, Dayna Harmony and A'nayah Jones, at home, his brothers Brian K. Ficarro, companion of Jacqueline (Pinto) Knight, Gouldsboro, PA and Greg J. Ficarro, husband of Kellie M. (Perry) Ficarro, Sayre, PA and by his mother-in-law, Betty E. Braster, Topton. Sheridan is also survived by his granddogs, Bartlebee, Toby, Isaac, Phoebe and Kito.

Sheridan was preceded in death by his guardian daughter, Katelyn M. Harmony.

Memorial Services for Sheridan will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
