Mrs. Shirley E. (Adams) Weller

Mrs. Shirley E. (Adams) Weller, 82, of Richmond Township, passed away on January 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, at her home.

Born December 5, 1939 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Asher and Irene (Keiper) Adams. Her husband of 52 years, Carl E. Weller, passed away on July 24, 2016.

Shirley was a 1958 graduate of Parkland High School and worked for a time at the Wenton Shoe Factory, Kutztown. She enjoyed ice skating, fishing, watching birds and deer, and most of all, spending time with her granddaughters.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Holly R. (Weller) Shafer, wife of Randy A. Shafer, Richmond Twp, her granddaughters, Victoria A. Shafer and Ashley M. Shafer, by her sisters, Betty Hostetter and Joan Gable, by her brother-in-law, Chuck Snayberger, and by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Carl, Shirley was preceded in death by her sisters, Dorothy Snayberger and Jeanette Snayberger.

Services for Shirley will be private. Burial will take place in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
