Suzanne G. Loden, 78, of Fleetwood, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Manor Care, West Reading.
Born November 5, 1942 in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martha E. (Lewis) and Carlton L. Loden Sr.
Suzanne was a 1960 graduate of Chester High School. She went on to attain her degrees, while in her 60's, in business management and marketing from the University of Phoenix.
Suzanne was a volunteer at Jacksonwald Elementary School, was a consultant for Avon for 16 years, and was an executive secretary at Boscov's. She also worked at Rite Aid, Exeter Twp, and Tarsus in Fleetwood. She had also worked as a caregiver for Mrs. Palmer for 5 years and worked for the Urban Jacksonville Cathedral Foundation, Jacksonville, FL, for 13 years.
Suzanne was a former member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Glen Mills, PA, and was truly a people person that enjoyed writing, storytelling, and children.
Suzanne is survived by her three children, David C. Kilmer, husband of Lisa A. (Weldon) Kilmer, Exeter Twp, Saundra L. (Kilmer) Garrett, North Port, FL, and Stephen S. Kilmer, husband of Monica Kilmer, Boothwyn, her grandchildren, Danielle, John and Nicholas, her great-grandchildren, Ashton, Ayden, Bella and Devon, her twin brother, Stephen G. Loden, husband of Marty Loden, Kirkwood, PA, and by Lisa's children and grandchildren who knew and loved her as Grandma Sue.
In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Crystal and by her brothers, William Loden and Carlton J. Loden, Jr.
Memorial Services for Suzanne will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held Saturday, from 10:00 am until time of services, at the funeral home.
Inurnment will follow the services in the St. Paul's Union Memorial Church Columbarium, Fleetwood.
