Theresa S. Rubin

Theresa S. (Schoenek) Rubin, 97, of Blandon, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Manorcare, Laureldale.

Born July 23, 1919 in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Lurtz) and Joseph Schoenek. She was married to the late Frederick Rubin.

Theresa was a longtime secretary at Lafayette College, Easton and a graduate of Easton High School. She was a member of Saint Phillip & Saint James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Theresa is survived by her children, Frederick Rubin, husband of Jayne Rubin, Nashua, New Hampshire and Janet M. (Rubin) Kleibscheidel, wife of Barry L. Kleibscheidel, Blandon. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Theresa will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, with Monsignor Walter T. Scheaffer officiating. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township, PA..
