Virginia L. "Ginny" (Kintzer) Sayer, 70, of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her home.
Born October 21, 1954 in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Shirley (Noonan) Weaver. She and her husband of 35 years, Jerry F. Sayer, were married on September 20, 1989.
Ginny was a 1972 graduate of Lebanon Senior High School, Lebanon, PA, and worked for many years at Red Cheek, now Sunsweet, Fleetwood, where she spent most of her time working as a waste water treatment operator.
Ginny was a member of the Horace M. Kieffer, Post 625, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Fleetwood, and also served as the financial secretary for the Fleetwood Fire Company Social Quarters. She was an EMT and a longtime volunteer with the Fleetwood Ambulance. Ginny enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and most of all, loved her doggies.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Jerry, are her son, Dale R. Kintzer, husband of Sandra M. (Wulkowicz) Kintzer, Reading, her grandchildren, Sean, Andy, David, Kayla, and Kyle, her great-grandsons, Bryson and Austin, and by her brother, Harry Shaw, husband of Michelle Shaw, Lebanon.
Along with her mother, Ginny was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Longanecker, and by her brother, Michael Shaw.
Services for Ginny will be held privately by her family.
