Warren F. Gift

Warren F. Gift, 79, of Rockland Township, died Friday evening, September 5, 2014 at Kutztown Manor, Kutztown, PA.

Born July 13, 1935 in Hennigsville, PA, he was a son of the late Franklin S. and Tamie L. (Kline) Gift. Warren and his wife, Jean L. (Lessig) were married on June 22, 1957 in Topton, PA. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this year.

Warren owned and operated Rockland Surveyors for many years, retiring in 1996. He was also active in the Way Ministry for years. He was a United States Army veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Joel L. Gift, husband of Jennifer L. (Minnich), of New Smithville and Christopher W. Gift, companion of Dana L. Bernhard, of Fleetwood, PA. Warren is also survived by his two grandsons, Leighton J. Gift and Riley C. Gift, a brother, Ralph R. (husband of Diane) Gift, Henningsville and sisters Jean M. (wife of Paul) Adam, Bowers and Carol A. (wife of Charles) Zwoyer, Hennigsville.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marian Weller and Verna Hess and a brother, James Gift.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at 10:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, P.C., 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA. Interment will follow in Huff's Union Church Cemetery, Alburtis, PA. Viewings will be held on Wednesday, September 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm and again on Thursday, September 11 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
