Warren R. Koch Jr.

Warren R. Koch, 80, of Kutztown, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025, at Bethlehem North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Bethlehem.

Born October 30, 1944, in Reading, Warren was the beloved son of the late Emma (Hoffman) and Elmer Zettlemoyer.

Warren dedicated 40 years to Lucent Technologies (formerly Western Electric), where he worked his way from Industrial Electrician to Facilities Manager. A 1962 graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Warren honed his electrical skills at a technical school before embarking on his career. Later in life, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University.

A member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the local Groundhog Lodge, Warren cherished his time in the outdoors, especially hunting deer, small game, and geese. He also held a deep connection to the land, spending countless hours working alongside his cousins, Lois, Neil, and Jean, on the family farm in Hamburg. He instilled the values of scouting as a Boy Scout Leader and enthusiastically coached his son's sports teams, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

He was a devoted father to his son, Kevin E. Koch, husband of Nancy L. (Atkins) Koch, Fredericksburg, VA. He adored his granddaughter, Kirby L. (Koch) Delloiacono, wife of Alfred S. Delloiacono, Fredericksburg, VA, and his great-granddaughters, Ellie L. Delloiacono and Vivian S. Delloiacono. He cherished the bond he shared with his cousins, Lois, Neil, and Jean, on the farm.

Services for Warren will be held privately by his family.
