Wayne R. Kauffman Sr.

Wayne R. Kauffman, Sr., 74, of Exeter Township, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, surrounded by his loving family, at his home.

Born February 5, 1947 in Reading, he was the son of the late Edward and Catherine (Snyder) Kauffman. His wife, Sharon A. (Hahn) Kauffman, passed away on February 11, 2020.

Wayne worked for over 40 years for Exide Batteries. He attended the Reading School District and loved fishing, drinking beer, the Phillies and was a diehard Eagles fan.

Wayne is survived by his children, Wayne R. Kauffman, Jr., Exeter Township, Shannon M. Kauffman, Exeter Township, and Christopher M. Kauffman, husband of Cecelia M. (Bickleman) Kauffman, Shillington. He is also survived by his grandchildren, A.J., Christina and Alana, and by his great-grandchildren, Jordan and Alayna.

Along with his parents and his wife Sharon, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Williams, and his brothers, Larry Kauffman Sr. and George Kauffman Sr.

Memorial Services for Wayne will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at 3:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood.

A visitation will be held, Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Wayne was a huge football fan, and in honor of that, the family asks all who are able, to please wear your favorite football jersey.
