Younis G. Joseph

Younis G. Joseph, 88, of Kutztown, formerly of Allentown, PA passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday evening, October 25, 2017.

Born November 10, 1928 in Greensburg, PA, he was the son of the late George and Rose (Charles) Joseph. He and his wife of 56 years, Patricia R. (Reinhard) Joseph, were married on November 3, 1962.

Younis was a longtime business owner. He was the owner and operator of the Campus Shop, Allentown for many years. He was a member of the Allentown Jaycees where he was past president and also a huge Yankees fan.

He graduated in 1947 from William Allen High School where he was a member of the State Championship Football team. He went on to Muhlenberg College where he graduated in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Younis served his country honorably and faithfully as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, Younis is survived by his son, Michael Y. Joseph, husband of Shannon M. (Willard) Joseph, Lenhartsville. Along with his parents, Younis was preceded in death by his sister Ramoz Joseph and his brother, Harvey Joseph.

Funeral Services for Younis will be private.
